What I do at Aspire.
I joined Aspire in June 2025 and I currently serve as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Provider working with clients across the lifespan.
Why I became a Doctor/Nurse.
I was drawn into this field because I have always been passionate about helping individuals improve their overall health, functioning, and well-being. My background in counseling, nursing, integrated care, and diabetes education showed me how deeply mental health, trauma, and chronic illness are connected. I chose behavioral health so I could support patients more holistically, empower them with tools for self-management, and help remove barriers that prevent people from thriving.
Why I chose to work at Aspire.
I chose Aspire because of its mission-driven approach, commitment to equitable care, and its focus on meeting patients where they are. Aspire’s model aligns with my philosophy of caring science, compassionate care, and evidence-based practice. The staff are caring and dedicated individuals!
My Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy traveling, health and wellness, scuba diving, nature, community wellness initiatives, teaching, and developing training programs for nurses and students. I also enjoy creating educational tools that blend evidence-based practice with accessible, culturally relevant approaches.
