What I do at Aspire.
I've been a therapist with Aspire since 2023, and provide supervision to new LMSW's. I'm passionate about empowering people to live their best lives while exploring how they can navigate and cope with the many challenges that life can bring.
Why I became a Therapist.
I had a relative with a serious mental health issue and witnessed the stigma and fear associated with her diagnosis firsthand. I became a therapist because I wanted people to know that they are not alone in their struggles. I want my clients to know that there are caring, compassionate people in the world that won't criticize or judge them, but will lift them up and empower them to be their best selves.
Why I chose to work at Aspire.
Initially, I chose to work at Aspire because I needed a virtual position that would allow me flexibility to support my first job as a mom to two boys. I continue to stay because I've found the staff at Aspire to be wonderfully warm, welcoming and supportive of one another.
My Hobbies and Interests.
I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, reading, gardening and traveling.
