Therapist
I am a Maryland native and received my MSW from UC Berkeley. I have been in the behavioral health field since earning my bachelor’s at Colorado College, working with individuals struggling with mental health, substance use, and other life and social issues.
I have been working in the behavioral health field since I received my bachelor’s degree in 2014, where I advocated for increased access to and better coverage of services and medications used in addiction treatment. What led me to get my MSW was a passion to directly help those in need, and I find a great fulfillment in assisting individuals in overcoming their personal and life dilemmas through therapy. I take a trauma-informed and harm reduction approach when utilizing evidence-based techniques that are applied in an individualized manner to each person I work with. I specialize in working with those experiencing serious mental illness, psychosis, substance use and addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, sexuality and gender identity issues, trauma and PTSD, and relationship difficulties. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, playing video games, watching sci-fi/fantasy/comic book movies and shows, hiking, snowboarding, playing basketball, playing golf, and getting out to socialize with friends.
